Ramy has always known without a doubt that he wanted to work with animals. In fact, when he moved to Canada from Egypt at the age of 6, half of his luggage was dedicated to his collectible animal figurines! As he got older, he grew a passion for biology and later on, completed a Bachelor’s degree in Life Science and Animal Health and Disease at McGill University. He then continued on to pursue his veterinary medicine degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, and graduated in 2024! While in school, Ramy continued to return home to Montreal during breaks and holidays where you may have seen him at Liesse doing stages and assisting. Then, he officially joined the Liesse team as a veterinarian in April of 2024. In his free time, Ramy enjoys traveling, cooking (eating!) and of course, spending time with his family and senior chihuahua, Gypsy!
